Roles: Dana M. Olwan is an Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Women's and Gender Studies at Syracuse University. Research Focus: Dana’s work bridges feminist theorizations of gendered violence, geopolitical solidarity, and pedagogical innovation. Key areas include analyzing honor crimes through transnational lenses, settler colonialism critiques, and representations of Arab/Muslim women. She emphasizes decolonial methodologies and intersectional approaches to feminist praxis.
