Dr. Dana Haraway is a Professor in the College of Education at James Madison University, specializing in promoting student success through resilience research, teacher development, and classroom management. She holds a Ph.D. in Administration and Supervision (School Psychology) from the University of Virginia and degrees from James Madison University including an Ed.S., M.Ed., and B.S.Ed. in Special Education.

Awards: National Board Certified School Psychologist.
Advising & Leadership: Advises mentors in Valley Scholars for 8th/9th graders. Served on the American Association for Teaching and Curriculum executive council and as higher education liaison to the Virginia Middle School Association board for eight years.
