Dana Gross is a Professor of Psychology at St. Olaf College and the 2021-2024 Paul and Mildred Hardy Distinguished Professor of Science. Her work focuses on developmental psychology, cross-cultural variations in human development, and integrating global learning into academic curricula. She teaches courses such as Developmental Psychology, Infancy Seminar, and interdisciplinary programs in India, China, and Norway.
Her research emphasizes the interplay of nature and nurture, practical applications of psychology, and policy implications. She has co-organized faculty workshops on maximizing experiential learning through off-campus programs, supported by St. Olaf College and FaCE grants. She is a co-author of influential texts like Infancy: Development from Birth to Age 3 and Faculty as Global Learners, accompanied by the podcast series Postcard Pedagogy.
