Dana Ezzell serves as Professor of Art and Graphic Design Program Director at Meredith College, bringing 25 years of professional experience as an award-winning designer, art director, and writer. She teaches courses in typography, print design, and interactive/web design while directing the Graphic Design Program.
Her creative research explores typographic landscapes and visual poetry, investigating how words communicate beyond literal meaning. Ezzell serves as Art Director for the North Carolina Literary Review and Creative Director of Meredith's Circus Design Studio.
Recognition includes features in Print magazine's Regional Design Annual, Applied Arts Awards Annual, American Corporate Identity, and the Big Book of Logos 4. She presents regularly at SECAC conferences on design pedagogy and student development, emphasizing authentic artistic vision.
