Dana Costea

Dana Costea serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Food, Pharma and Healthcare at Saint Joseph's University, holding a concurrent adjunct appointment in the Office of the Provost since joining the institution in 2014. She currently directs the Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration program, overseeing curriculum development and teaching capstone courses since August 2021.

Her academic credentials include a PhD in Economics from Lehigh University (2008), an MS in Quantitative Economics from Babes-Bolyai University, Romania (2000), and a BS in Management from Bolyai University, Romania (1999).

Dr. Costea's scholarly focus centers on Health Economics and Healthcare Administration, demonstrated through her instruction in Survey of Economics, American Healthcare System, Economics of Health Care, and Quantitative Business Analysis. Her expertise bridges economic theory with practical healthcare management applications across undergraduate and graduate programs.
