Dana Cook

Dana Cook serves as a Practitioner in Residence in the Department of Mathematics and Physics within the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of New Haven. Her role bridges professional practice and academic instruction, focusing on the discipline of mathematics through real-world application and pedagogical engagement.

Her academic interests are deeply rooted in Mathematics, emphasizing conceptual exploration and wonder-driven learning. As she states: "I enjoy thinking and talking about mathematics. I enjoy life in general and hope that the sheer wonder of the world around us, most importantly the people that are part of our existence, is simply that – a wonder."
