Professor Dan Vimont is a leading climate scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, holding the Ned P. Smith Distinguished Chair of Climatology. He is affiliated with the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Department and serves as Director of the Nelson Institute Center for Climatic Research and Co-Director of the Wisconsin Initiative on Climate Change Impacts (WICCI).
