Damla DURAK UŞAR is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Turkish-German University, Faculty of Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Özyeğin University (2017), an MBA from Marmara University (2008), and a B.Sc. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (2003). Her academic career includes a postdoctoral researcher role at the TÜSİAD-Özyeğin University Sustainable Development Forum (2017–2019) before joining Turkish-German University in 2020.
Research Interests: Her work focuses on the intersection of corporate sustainability, supply chain management, and financial performance. She explores the impact of ISO certifications and blockchain technology on operational excellence, particularly in perishable food supply chains and multi-tier supply chain systems. Broader themes include game theory applications and gender diversity in corporate leadership.
Recent Article Trends: Her publications (2017–2024) emphasize empirical analysis of sustainability practices in manufacturing, with a focus on Turkey. Key areas include environmental and social governance (ESG), dynamic programming, and technology-driven supply chain resilience.
