Damien VIOLEAU is a Professor at École des Ponts ParisTech, specializing in environmental fluid mechanics. He holds dual affiliations with Electricité de France (EDF) and the Saint-Venant Hydraulics Laboratory (Paris-East University). His work focuses on numerical modeling of fluid dynamics, turbulence, coastal waterworks, and hydraulic engineering applications.
Education: Graduated from the National School of Bridges and Roads (École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées) in 1996.
Teaching: Teaches Fluid Mechanics at École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and École Normale Supérieure de Paris-Saclay.
