Professor Damien Field is a leading academic in global soil security and soil education at the University of Sydney, serving as Director of the Sydney Institute of Agriculture and Chair of Division 4 in the International Union of Soil Science. He holds roles in the School of Life and Environmental Sciences and chairs the Sydney Southeast Asia Centre's Executive Research Training committee. His career includes research fellowships, academic leadership roles, and a Master of Education (Higher Education).
