Dr Damian Maher is an Examination Fellow at All Souls College, University of Oxford since 2021. His current research focuses on the reception of Henry James among 20th and 21st-century Anglo-American philosophers. He holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford, following undergraduate studies at the University of Queensland (2017) and postgraduate work at St John’s College, Oxford (2018–2021).
His research interests bridge literature and philosophy, with a focus on themes of desire, sexual politics, realism, Australian literature, and film. Maher was awarded the Rhodes Scholarship in 2018, supporting his postgraduate studies.
