Damian Clarke is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Exeter and the University of Chile. He is also a Research Fellow at IZA and affiliated with multiple institutions, including the Millennium Institute for Research in Market Imperfections and Public Policy, the Essex Research Centre on Micro-Social Change, CAGE Warwick, the Instituto de Estudos para Políticas de Saúde (Brazil), and the Centre for the Study of African Economies at Oxford.

His research focuses on maternal and child health, family fertility decisions, and the impact of public programs on maternal mortality, early-life health outcomes, and parental investments in children.
