Dr. Damian Archer serves as the Assistant Dean for Multicultural Affairs and Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine. He holds additional roles including CEO of Outer Cape Health Services, a federally qualified health center. His academic appointments include Clinical Assistant Professor (2018–present) and Clinical Instructor (2012–2018) in Family Medicine. He completed his MD at the University of the West Indies (2006) and BS at University of Western Ontario (2001), with Family Medicine residency training at University of Wisconsin/Aurora Healthcare (2008–2011).
Dr. Archer focuses on healthcare equity, inclusive environments, and health justice through programs like the Sam W. Ho Health Justice Scholars Program, where he serves as Director since 2024. His professional activities include presentations on opioid use disorder treatment, HIV care, and bullying in healthcare contexts.
He received the Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award (2016) and has taught numerous Family Medicine courses at Tufts since 2020. His work emphasizes integrating clinical practice with community health initiatives, particularly in underserved areas of Cape Cod.
