Dami Akosile

Dr Dami Akosile is a Lecturer in the Department of Humanities, Cultures and Environment at the University of Chester, UK, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. His academic background includes a BSc in Urban and Regional Planning from Obafemi Awolowo University (Nigeria), an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Birmingham (UK), and a PhD in City and Regional Planning from Cardiff University (UK).

• Research Focus: Sustainable urban spaces, integrated spatial planning, urban housing, travel well-being, and social inclusion through urban design.
• Teaching: Modules include Sustainable Development, Geomatics, Urban Morphology, and Dissertation supervision.

He is a member of the Sustainability and Environment Research and Knowledge Exchange Institute. Languages: Fluent in English, Yoruba, and English-based Creoles/Pidgins (reading, writing, speaking, and peer review).
