Dai Chen is a Senior Lecturer in Chinese at Wellesley College, affiliated with the Department of East Asian Languages & Cultures within the East Asian Studies school.
Research interests include:
- Chinese language pedagogy
- Second language acquisition
- CFL (Chinese as a Foreign Language) curriculum design
- Vocabulary acquisition in language learning
- Integration of computer technology in language classrooms
- Objective language testing and evaluation
Teaching experience spans all levels of Chinese language instruction, from elementary to advanced conversational courses.
