Dag Karterud is an Associate Professor at the Department of Nursing and Health Promotion, Faculty of Health Sciences, Oslo Metropolitan University, where he also serves as a Study Leader for Area 4. His research centers on nursing practices, health promotion, and the societal impacts of long-term pain and mental health challenges, particularly among young adults. He actively contributes to the Empowerment research group and leads projects on welfare technology integration.
