DONG Hua is a Professor in the College of Design and Innovation at Tongji University and Brunel University London, where she returned after 12 years of research and teaching in the UK. Her cross-cultural and interdisciplinary design research focuses on inclusive design, universal design, service design, user experience, aging, and disability.
She founded the Inclusive Design Research Group at both Brunel University and Tongji University, serves as international coordinator for the Inclusive Design Research Interest Group (InclusiveSIG), and holds a council membership at the Design Research Society (DRS). Her work spans teaching, leadership, and over 100 publications.
