D. Jeffrey Meldrum is a Full Professor of Anatomy & Anthropology at Idaho State University, where he has served since 1993. He teaches human anatomy courses for graduate health professions programs including BIOL 4474/5574 (OT/PT emphasis), BIOL 4470/5570 Sectional Anatomy, and BIOL4417 Organic Evolution.
His educational background includes:

Dr. Meldrum's research centers on vertebrate evolutionary morphology with specialization in primate locomotor adaptations and the emergence of modern human bipedalism. He maintains the world's largest collection of sasquatch footprint casts (over 300 specimens) and leads the Relict Hominoid Inquiry lab. His work bridges scientific analysis with tribal traditional knowledge, documented in his book Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science and editorship of the scholarly journal The Relict Hominoid Inquiry. International collaborations span China, Russia, and North America.
He directs the Relict Hominoid Inquiry laboratory in Life Sciences 308, conducting both field investigations and morphological analyses of purported relict hominoid evidence globally.
