César Prieto Frías

Dr. César Prieto Frías serves as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra and practices as a Digestive Medicine Specialist at the University of Navarra Clinic across both Pamplona (since 2007) and Madrid (since 2017) campuses. His clinical expertise centers on advanced esophageal diagnostics and therapeutics within the Digestive System Service.

His technical proficiency spans 24-hour impedance pH monitoring, wireless pH monitoring, high-resolution esophageal manometry, and advanced endoscopic procedures including capsule endoscopy for small intestine/colon diagnostics. He actively contributes to clinical research through the Barrett's Esophagus and Capsule Endoscopy working groups of SEED.

As an educator, he coordinates the 3rd year of Medicine studies and heads Medical Subject II at the Madrid campus since 2022, while serving as student tutor during 2008-2017 and 2022-2024 academic years.
