Cynthia Levitan

Cynthia Levitan is an adjunct professor at Universidade Europeia's Faculty of Design, Technology, and Communication, and at the School of Arts and Design (ESAD) within the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. Her academic work focuses on stop motion animation, character design, and emotional/hospital design.

• Research Focus: Puppet construction as identity reflections and autofictional narratives in stop motion.
• Awards: Recognized for 2014 puppet-making contributions, 2008 community art interventions, and volunteer work in Israel.

She is currently finalizing her animated short film Pietra, blending sculpture and narrative techniques.
