Cynthia Frank serves as the Director of the Springer Lab (InSTRIDE) at the Yale School of Medicine. She is a medical anthropologist and nurse with extensive clinical research experience in HIV, Hepatitis C, and substance use disorders, focusing on disease-related stigma and the experiences of women. Her roles include managing six NIH grants and overseeing initiatives such as the Yale ACTION Trial, which connects formerly incarcerated individuals with healthcare services. She has collaborated with the Yale AIDS Program and the VA Connecticut Healthcare System for over 27 years.
