Cynthia Bansak is the Charles A. Dana Professor of Economics at St. Lawrence University, where she also serves as Economics Department Coordinator. Previously, she held roles at San Diego State University and the Federal Reserve System. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego, and a B.A. from Yale University. Her research focuses on labor economics, international immigration, remittances, educational attainment, and business cycles. She co-authored the textbook *The Economics of Immigration (2nd ed., 2021)* and contributes to policy analysis through roles as co-editor of the *Eastern Economic Journal* and fellowships with IZA, GLO, and CReAM. She also holds a special-term professorship at China's Central University of Finance and Economics.
