Curtis Rollins

Curtis Rollins is a Lecturer at the University of Western Australia (UWA), affiliated with the School of Agriculture and Environment and the Centre for Environmental Economics and Policy. He holds a PhD (2024) and dual MSc/BSc from UWA and the University of Alberta. His research focuses on integrating social science methodologies into economic models to address environmental and agricultural challenges, including renewable energy transitions, biodiversity conservation, and waste management. He has secured over CAD 70,000 in research grants and contributed to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to climate action and sustainable cities.

Teaching roles include unit coordination for Environmental Economics courses at UWA and prior sessions at the University of Alberta. He has received prestigious awards such as the AARES Best Post-Graduate Thesis Award (2024) and the Quality of Research Discovery Award (2023). His work bridges environmental policy, behavioral economics, and interdisciplinary collaboration, with recent publications on public preferences for urban greenspaces and energy development policy.

Key grants include studies on Alberta farm climate mitigation (CAD 28,000) and evaluations of environmental stewardship programs (CAD 20,000).
