Crystal Sullivan

Crystal Sullivan is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of English at Indiana State University’s College of Arts & Sciences. With a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (English Teaching emphasis) and expertise in higher education pedagogy, she focuses on curriculum design, active learning strategies, and international student support.

• Education: Ph.D. (2018, ISU), M.A. (2008, ISU) in English Literature, B.S. (2006, ISU) in English Teaching.

Her scholarly work includes presentations on Blackboard integration for IEPs, L1 peer mentoring, and Saudi student experiences in U.S. higher education. She received the 2023 SASE Adjunct Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award and multiple service accolades. Sullivan also advises student organizations and consults on academic initiatives at ISU.
