Cristina TERRA

Cristina Terra is a Professor of Economics and Academic Director of the Global BBA program at ESSEC Business School in France. She holds a PhD in Economics from Princeton University and has held academic appointments at institutions in France, Brazil, and the United States. Her research focuses on International Economics and Development Economics, with notable contributions to trade policy, political economy, and historical economic dynamics. She has authored textbooks such as Principles of International Finance and Open Economy Macroeconomics and serves on editorial boards including the Journal of Applied Economics.

Research Interests:

Her work examines the interplay between trade liberalization, wage differentials, and economic policy in developing economies. Her recent studies explore Brazil's industrial policy and the macroeconomic implications of trade openness.
