Cristina Nevado

Professor Cristina Nevado is a Full Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Zurich and a member of the ICIQ Scientific Advisory Board. Her research focuses on synthetic organic chemistry, particularly late-transition metal catalysis and natural product synthesis with medicinal applications. She has been recognized internationally for her contributions, including the 2024 UCB Lecture Award.

Her work centers on developing innovative catalytic methods for complex chemical synthesis, with an emphasis on organometallic reactions and their applications in medicinal chemistry. She explores bioactive chemical probes and their biological mechanisms, aligning with molecular medicine research.
