Cristina Giudici is an Associate Professor of Demography at Sapienza University of Rome, where she works in the Department of Methods and Models for Economy, Territory and Finance (MEMOTEF). She coordinates the doctoral curriculum in Demography under the Ph.D. program in "School of Statistical Sciences" and holds the UNESCO Chair on Population, Migrations and Development. Her academic career spans roles including Deputy Dean of the European Doctoral School of Demography (EDSD) and Principal Investigator for the EU-funded MAPS project on migration policy in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Articles span topics like gender gaps in life expectancy and functional data analysis applications.
Scientific leadership includes editorial roles at GENUS – Journal of Population Sciences and committee memberships in AIDELF, AISP, SIS, and IUSSP. She led projects for United Nations, UNESCO, Council of Europe, and Italian Ministry of Interior, including FAMI action evaluations.
