PD Dr.-Phil. Cristian Pasluosta is a Senior Lecturer and Group Leader of the Physiological Control System Group at the Laboratory for Biomedical Microtechnology (IMTEK), University of Freiburg, within the Faculty of Engineering. His research focuses on applying machine learning and pattern recognition to analyze human motion, particularly in amputee populations and patients with neurological disorders. Key areas include restoring motor functions via peripheral nervous system stimulation, gait dynamics, and balance control mechanisms.
