معرفی
Cristian Dascalu serves as a University Professor at the University of Lorraine, holding a primary appointment in the Department of Materials, Mechanics, Structures, and Vibrations (MMSV) within the Faculty of Science and Technology. He maintains active research affiliation with the LEM3 Laboratory (UMR CNRS 7239), a joint unit operated by the University of Lorraine, National Centre for Scientific Research, and Arts et Métiers.
His research spans critical domains in engineering sciences:
- Materials Science with focus on microstructural characterization
- Mechanics of Materials under extreme conditions
- Structural Engineering and Vibrations analysis
- Computational modeling of material behavior
The LEM3 Laboratory, co-financed by the European Union, provides advanced experimental facilities for his work in material mechanics. Professor Dascalu's HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) qualification enables him to supervise doctoral candidates and lead research initiatives within the French academic system. His office is located at 7 rue Félix Savart, 57070 Metz (Office DN2-010), within the dedicated LEM3 research building.
