Cressida Auckland

Cressida Auckland is an Associate Professor at the LSE Law School, part of the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her expertise spans medical law, mental capacity, and end-of-life decision-making, with a focus on the intersection of psychiatry, philosophy, and law. She holds a doctorate ('The cusp of capacity') and a Master’s in Medical Law and Ethics from King’s College London, alongside an undergraduate Law degree from Merton College, Oxford.
