Craig Smith is an Associate Professor in the School of Art and Art History at the University of Florida. His work focuses on human-to-human interactivity in contemporary art, particularly through photography, sound, and socially engaged performances. He has curated major exhibitions such as Art of Sport (2013) and the Ghillie Suit Series (2019-2020), addressing societal issues through art. His research explores curatorial practices and spaces of encounter, with publications including Training Manual for Relational Art and the upcoming Relational Art: A Guided Tour (2023).
