Craig Schaefer is a Professor of Creative Media at Loras College, where he directs the TV Studio Creative Media program. With expertise in creative video production and broadcast journalism, he is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and commercial director who actively contributes to academic and professional communities.
- Education: B.A. in 1989 from Loras College; M.A. in 1993 from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale.
His research and professional work focus on documentary filmmaking and commercial production, blending creative practice with academic rigor. Professor Schaefer also serves on the board of directors for the Iowa College Media Association, supporting media education initiatives.
