Craig McIntosh is a Professor of Economics at the School of Global Policy and Strategy (University of California, San Diego). He serves as co-director of the Policy Design and Evaluation Lab and holds the Institute of the Americas Professorship for Inter-American Affairs. His research focuses on program evaluation, financial services for micro-entrepreneurs, and anti-poverty policy innovations across Mexico, Guatemala, Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, and Tanzania.
