Craig Glazer is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and currently serves as Interim Chief of Hospital Medicine at Clements Memorial Hospital and Texas Health Frisco. His clinical expertise focuses on pulmonary and critical care medicine, with specialization in interstitial lung diseases and occupational/environmental lung diseases. He joined UT Southwestern in 2002 as part of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Glazer earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at UT Southwestern, followed by a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He also trained in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at National Jewish Medical and Research Center.
His research centers on the causes and treatments of interstitial lung diseases, particularly bioaerosol-induced conditions like hypersensitivity pneumonitis. He is board certified in pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, internal medicine, and occupational medicine.
Dr. Glazer has been recognized with multiple awards, including “Best Doctor” by D Magazine and “Top Doctor” by Castle Connelly. His professional affiliations include memberships in relevant medical associations, though specific organizations are not listed here.
