Craig Fortier is a tenured Associate Professor in Social Development Studies, with a cross-appointment in the Gender and Social Justice department. Their work bridges academia, community engagement, and social justice activism.

Research and Teaching Interests: Craig focuses on settler colonialism, social movements, and decolonizing practices in social work. They explore intersections of popular culture, radical pedagogy, and urban Indigenous sovereignty, alongside topics like migrant justice, queer/trans* participation in sports, and baseball history.
