Craig E. Jones, K.C., is a Professor at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) Faculty of Law. He holds a BGS from TRU, LLB from UBC, and LLM from Harvard Law School. His expertise spans constitutional law, Indigenous rights, complex litigation, and legal history. He previously served as Supervising Counsel in the BC Ministry of Attorney General and retains a litigation practice with a Vancouver firm. His research focuses on First Nations governance in the 18th/19th centuries and early fur trade dynamics. Key publications include First Nation: Grand Chief N'Kwala and Theory of Class Actions.

Professional roles include General Counsel to the BC Premier (since 2022), board memberships with organizations like the BC Civil Liberties Association and Habitat for Humanity Kamloops. He has advised on high-profile cases such as the Missing Women Commission and the Robert Dziekanski inquiry. Currently on sabbatical for 2025-26 academic year.
