Craig Bolton is a Lecturer in Physiotherapy at Birmingham Newman University, located within the School of Nursing and Allied Health under the Faculty of Arts, Society and Professional Studies. He holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy (2019) from the University of Lincoln and a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science (2016) from Leeds Beckett University. Craig is set to begin the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PG Cert) in September 2024 with his institution.

His research interests focus on orthopaedics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a particular emphasis on shoulder and knee rehabilitation. Craig aims to conduct future research studies and publications in these areas.
Craig has been awarded the CSP’s East Midlands Regional Network Award for Highest Academic Achievement, recognizing his exceptional dissertation/service transformation project during his master’s program, which scored 95% and was recommended for publication.
As an educator, Craig has experience as a Practice Educator and holds certifications in team leadership. He has also owned an independent gym and physiotherapy clinic for over three years, demonstrating entrepreneurial and clinical expertise. His professional memberships include the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
