Courtney Thomas Tobin

Courtney Thomas Tobin is Associate Professor of Community Health Sciences and African American Studies at UCLA. Her research examines psychosocial sources of risk and resilience impacting psychophysiological health across the life course, particularly within Black American communities. She developed the Racial Self-Awareness Framework to understand how environmental, sociocultural, and behavioral factors influence health outcomes.
