Courtney Sherman is an Associate Professor of Music at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, affiliated with the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and the Department of Music. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice Performance and a Master of Music in Opera Theatre from Arizona State University, along with a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Western Michigan University.

Her expertise spans voice performance, vocal pedagogy, and classical/musical theatre repertoire. She specializes in conducting and music directing musical theatre productions such as Cabaret, Avenue Q, and Legally Blonde, and collaborates on new music premieres. Additional interests include applying classical vocal techniques to contemporary musical theatre and performing art song/opera repertoire.
She also serves as Music Director at Union Congregational United Church of Christ in Green Bay, maintains a private voice studio, and engages in regional clinics as a guest speaker.
