Courtney Luecking serves as an Assistant Extension Professor in the Department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition at the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, University of Kentucky.
Her research interests focus on:
- Nutrition and Dietetics
- Public Health Interventions
- Early Childhood Nutrition Environments
- Health Equity in Kentucky Communities
- Community-Based Health Programming
Dr. Luecking collaborates with undergraduate and graduate students, Cooperative Extension agents, community partners across Kentucky, and faculty within the University and other institutions to translate research-based information into healthy lifestyle interventions for communities in Kentucky.
Her Cooperative Extension programming and research activities aim to improve population health and health equity through facilitating cross-sector partnerships and developing multi-level interventions that elevate the quality of nutrition and feeding environments during the early childhood period.
