Courtney Angela Brkic is a Lecturer at George Mason University, specializing in Creative Writing. She teaches courses such as Advanced Fiction Writing Workshop, Experimental Fiction, and Resistance Literature, with a focus on warzones and bicultural experiences.

Research & Creative Work spans fiction, non-fiction, and translation, exploring themes of war, displacement, and historical memory. Her notable publications include The Stone Fields, documenting forensic work in Bosnia, and Stillness, a short fiction collection on Balkan conflicts.
