Costas Panayotakis is a Professor of Latin (Classics) at the University of Glasgow, specializing in Roman comedy, textual criticism, and ancient fiction. His research focuses on Latin fiction, Roman comic theatre, and the fragments of Atellane comedy and mime. He has held prestigious fellowships, including the Leverhulme Trust Research Fellowship (2023–2024) and the British Academy Balsdon Fellowship (2012).
