Costa-Guix Xavier

Xavier Costa-Guix is a Professor of History of Art and Architecture at Northeastern University's School of Architecture. He served as the Founding Dean of Northeastern's College of Arts, Media and Design from 2010 to 2015. His academic career includes visiting roles at institutions such as Harvard University, the University of Southampton, and Cornell University. He currently advises doctoral candidates at ETH Zürich's PhD Program in Architecture.

His research focuses on 20th-century architectural movements, including the Situationist International, CIAM, and the work of key figures like Josep Lluis Sert. He also explores modern architecture conservation, urbanism in Southern Europe, and the theoretical foundations of modern art and architecture.
