Giulio Cossu is the Constance Thornley Professor of Regenerative Medicine at the University of Manchester since 2013. He has held significant roles including Professor of Human Stem Cell Biology at University College London (2012-2013), Director of the Division of Regenerative Medicine at San Raffaele Scientific Institute (2008-2011), and Professor of Histology and Embryology at the University of Milan (2005-2011) and University of Rome 'La Sapienza' (1994-2005). His research focuses on myogenic cell lineages, muscle gene therapy, and pluripotent stem cells.
