Cornelia Hoehr

Dr. Cornelia Hoehr is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Victoria's Department of Physics and Astronomy, affiliated with TRIUMF, Canada's particle accelerator center. Her research bridges nuclear physics and medical applications.

Her primary research areas include proton therapy dosimetry, medical isotope production, and radiation detection technologies. She develops novel methods for cancer treatment verification and radioisotope production for diagnostic imaging and targeted therapy.

Dr. Hoehr leads research projects funded by NSERC, CFI, and Tri-Agency grants. She supervises graduate students including PhD candidate Clayton Lindsay, focusing on innovative approaches to radiation measurement and proton therapy enhancement.
