Dr. Andrew Roberts is Professor and Department Chair of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Minnesota State University, Mankato. He holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1995) and leads research in applied nuclear science and medical physics using particle accelerators.

His research applications span radioisotope production, high mass sensitivity ion beam analysis, radiation-material interactions, and fundamental nuclear physics. Current projects focus on radiolabeled compounds for PET imaging using MSU's 400 keV proton/deuteron accelerator.
