Corliss Bean is an Associate Professor in Brock University's Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies within the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences. She directs the Centre for Healthy Youth Development through Sport and focuses on leveraging sport and physical activity to promote psychosocial and physical development in youth, postpartum women, and at-risk populations. Her work emphasizes community partnerships for program design and evaluation.
