Corinne Bonnet is a Professor of Greek History at the University of Toulouse, France, since 2003. She has held academic positions in multiple countries, including Belgium, Italy, and Germany, focusing on Ancient Near Eastern History prior to her current role. As head of the research team ERASME, she oversees the journal Anabases. Traditions et réceptions de l'Antiquité (22 issues published).

Her research centers on cross-cultural interactions in antiquity, particularly between the 'West' and 'East,' with a focus on religious dynamics. She has contributed to the history of scholarship through studies of Altertumswissenschaft and intellectual networks in 19th-20th century Europe.
