معرفی
Dr. Corinna Rebmann is a Research Scientist at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) within the Department of Computational Hydrosystems. Her work focuses on micrometeorology, ecohydrology, and environmental modeling. She has held this position since November 2009, following prior roles at the Max-Planck-Institute for Biogeochemistry (2004–2010) and the University of Bayreuth (2002–2003).
- PhD (2001–2009): University of Bayreuth and Max-Planck-Institute for Biogeochemistry, specializing in flux determination and ecosystem processes.
- Field expeditions included establishing flux towers in Botswana and Siberia.
Research interests include:
- Micrometeorological measurements (eddy covariance, sap flow)
- Hydrological modeling (soil moisture, drought prediction)
- Carbon cycle dynamics in forests
- Remote sensing applications for vegetation monitoring
Key projects:
- TERENO: Terrestrial Environmental Observatories
- ICOS: Integrated Carbon Observation System
- MOSES: Modular Observation Solutions for Earth Systems
Publications emphasize canopy modeling, soil moisture networks, and ecosystem flux analysis. She contributes to data standardization efforts through ICOS and COSMOS-Europe initiatives.
