Corina Ilin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Sociology and Psychology, West University of Timișoara (UVT). She teaches Applied Social Psychology, Environmental Psychology, and Economic Psychology, and coordinates the Study and Research Group on the People-Environment Relationship, actively promoting environmental psychology in Romania.
Her research interests include:

- Economic Psychology and the Psychology of Money
- Savings and Debt Behaviors
- Pro-environmental Behaviors at Work
- Urban Environmental Psychology
- Risk Perception
Her recent scholarly work reflects a strong focus on sustainability, financial behavior, and human-environment interactions. Articles span topics such as place attachment in urban settings, green workplace practices, economic self-determination, and entrepreneurial resilience during crises. Her research combines theoretical depth with practical applications in policy and organizational development.
She has received recognition for her research excellence, including a Diploma of Excellence in 2011 for leading the FP7 LOCAW project. She has also contributed to European Commission reports and collaborative international research.
Corina Ilin has been actively involved in academic leadership, having served as President of the UVT Ethics Commission (2010–2018) and currently contributing to the implementation of the UNITA-European project. She has authored and coordinated several books and has published extensively in journals and conference proceedings.
She maintains an active research and teaching presence, with ongoing contributions to academic literature and institutional development.
